Client Care Coordinator - Maidstone Branch
Location: Maidstone office based
Contract Type: Full Time (hours)
Salary: £26,000 per year, including on‑call pay*
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm, plus on call one weekday per week and one weekend per month.
Weekend Availability Required. Female applicants only due to the nature of personal care.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Maidstone. The role requires previous care and coordinating experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage staff rotas, ensuring visits are allocated consistently and in a timely manner.
* Manage staff annual leave and accommodate any required training in rotas.
* Maintain consistent communication with Reablement Workers/Care Assistants and build good working relationships.
* Liaise with other professionals.
Required Experience & Skills
* Experience in scheduling/coordinating/rota planning in the care sector.
* Experience using a rostering system.
* Experience in care calls, including taking part in holding the "out of hours" on‑call phone.
* Administrative experience.
* Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
* Minimum 2 years experience in care and 1 year in coordinating.
* Strong work ethic, organisational skills, positive personality.
* Good communication and time‑management skills.
* Ability to cope under pressure, remain calm and patient.
* Ability to deal with change and show empathy and understanding.
* Flexible and reliable.
