Our aim is to deliver a first-class visitor experience across our unique heritage attractions. Our Retail Supervisor will play a vital role in this by coaching, and being a role model, to the Team Members around them by helping them to be the best they can be. Taking direction from our Visitor Experience Managers, our Supervisor will coach and train Team Member colleagues, providing development and support as required. Our Supervisor will also make sure our gift shops across Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Gosport Submarine and Explosion Museums are merchandised ready for trade. What you can bring: Retail knowledge and commercial awareness. Basic knowledge of people management, motivation and engagement. Ability to work independently, and organise and prioritise workload to meet challenging demands and comply with deadlines. Ability to train and lead team members to achieve sales targets. Experience of using multi-site electronic trading/inventory/ticketing system/purchasing systems (EPOS).
