* Days: 7:00am – 3:30pm (5 shifts)

Job Description:
We are looking for a capable and adaptable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy engineering team within a thriving manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on CNC machinery and press equipment, where you will be instrumental in maximising machine reliability, reducing downtime, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on CNC machines and press equipment
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective repairs
* Supporting production teams to resolve breakdowns quickly and safely
* Assisting with installation, commissioning, and relocation of machinery
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Contributing to continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Skills & experience:
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and press systems
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding expertise
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
* PLC fault-finding experience preferred
* Proactive problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail
* Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Desirable:
* Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
* Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement knowledge
* Background in a high-volume production environment
