Job Type - Full Time Onsite
Salary Range - 44000 - 46000 EURO
About the role
The EHS Engineer will to build effective relationships and promote a positive culture by ensuring that all plant associates work within a healthy, safe, sustainable, and compliant environment.
As the EHS Engineer, you will report to the site EHS Lead. Additionally, you will work closely with the Corporate EHS and Sustainability teams to forge strong relationships and positively represent the plant.
Main responsibilities will include:
1. To assist all levels of management in implementing and maintaining the standards required of the health and Safety at work act, all other codes of practice and relevant standards.
2. Establish appropriate processes and controls to ensure that the site will maintain ISO14001 certification including leading Environmental Management reviews.
3. Act as the key contact and facilitator for external visits and audits from relevant agencies, i.e. HSE, Environmental Consultants, the Environment Agency, and Plymouth City Council.
