Ashton Recruitment require a Customer Operations Officer for our client, Co-Ownership based in Belfast.
Position: Customer Operations Officer
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temp-Perm
Rate of Pay: £32,957 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00
The role will include supporting Co-Ownership, Northern Ireland's shared ownership scheme. Co-Ownership helps people buy a home by allowing them to purchase a share of a property while paying rent on the remaining portion. This approach makes home ownership more affordable for those who may not have the full deposit or income to buy outright. Over time, customers can increase their share until they own the property in full, providing a flexible and accessible route onto the property ladder.
Duties (not limited to):
1. Process the documentation required to support customer operations including:
1. Onboarding of customers
2. Staircasing - including deletions
3. Valuation reports and queries
4. Cheques and documents
5. Title deeds management
6. Solicitor bills of cost within service level agreements
2. Understand the current process flows and procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement.
3. Meet business performance goals.
4. Check accuracy of legal documentation received including contracts and building agreements highlighting any issues to the client's legal department.
5. Liaise with third parties, notably solicitors, valuers, financial advisers, estate agents, lenders and customers to ensure that SLAs are met and issues resolved prior to purchase/sale completi
6. Use the appropriate computer packages to input and extract data as required.
7. Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer contact and progress.
8. Ensure administration records are accurate and up to date.
9. Ensure that Docuware and customer contact reports are kept fully up to date.
10. Provide accurate and consistent information and advice to the clients Customers and Applicants.
11. Ensure that all actions to support customers are completed within agreed timeframes and customers advised.
12. Deal with any customer concerns at first point of contact and endeavour to resolve these.
13. Ensure compliance with information security procedures and data protection requirements.
14. Always maintain customer confidentiality and ensure that customers are properly identified and verified.
Essential Criteria
* 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) to include Maths and English (at grades A-C). In lieu of qualifications, the client will seek a minimum of 3 years' of the below experience.
* Minimum of 1 years' experience of working in an administrative role including the following duties: record keeping, scanning, use of databases and spreadsheets.
* Previous experience of processing legal or financial documentati
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong skills in Microsoft Word & Excel
