We are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work with SEN students, at an SEMH school based in West Wickham. This Science Teacher position will involve teaching students with SEMH and ASD in small groups. The students are often disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop their learning.
This school offers an education to students with SEMH and ASD and caters for students from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. The school objectives are to ensure that vulnerable children stay within an educational setting and have an outstanding team of staff that deliver a tailored and vibrant curriculum to the young people.
The successful Science Teacher will need to have an adaptable approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets the complex requirements of the students. As a Science Teacher you will play a proactive role in educating students and in positive behaviour management.
