Salary: £48,976.09 plus Car and Bonus
Location: Stafford / Manchester and Surrounding areas
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: 08:00 - 17:00
Purpose of Position
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles that are being used are safe and legally compliant. You will also be upskilling depot staff in the safe use of equipment, and ensuring that they are aware of the company defect and booking procedures.
Key Task & Responsibilities
* Looking at supplier performance, and monitoring associated services, and cost as well as auditing the quality of work.
* Carrying out weight checks, fleet checks, and site inspections.
* Identifying key areas and causes of vehicle damage and work with the Depot Management Team to devise strategies to reduce damage sustained.
* Ensuring all suppliers of vehicle related goods and services meet company requirements, in terms of cost and legal compliance (including health and safety considerations).

* Ability to carry out internal audits.
* Strong financial awareness.
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
* The ability to engage and build strong working relationships with employees and suppliers.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
