An exciting 9 month fixed term opportunity to join the Medical Secretariat Team within the EMRS Division at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Medical Secretary who can provide a competent and effective secretarial service to Consultants and their teams within the EMRS Division.
Responsibilities
* Provide a competent and effective secretarial service to Consultants and their teams within the EMRS Division.
* Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors in person and/or in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.
* Work with limited supervision, use own initiative, keep to strict deadlines and demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary is essential.
* Knowledge of office equipment and systems, together with word processing/typing or equivalent, and knowledge of Medical Terminology.
