The Opportunity: Maternity cover for the Junior Sales and Marketing Executive for Roberts Bakery 1887 Limited
Job Purpose Support the Retail channel sales team to achieve stretching commercial and marketing KPIs by supporting the NAM community administratively to deliver against the key objectives on time and in full.
What you will contribute:

* Effective management of Independent Customers, ensuring GSV, volume and margin targets are achieved and identify opportunities for FRS to profitably grow.
* Support the NAM community in the delivery of NPD launched both branded and private label.
* Support the NAM community in the completion of customer administration error free and on time.
* First commercial point of contact with Supply Chain and Planning to understand shorts / lates and work cross functionally to resolve.
* Ensure samples are delivered to customers on time for product submission by working with Innovation.
* Responsible for all activation and Trade Marketing needs across Biscuits including Design briefs where appropriate, use of Canva to design barkers, flyers and further point of sale.
* Turn category data analysis into PPT presentations to tell our story to the trade.
* Provide input, support, and creation of material for the marketing program for Roberts Communication needs including digital photography shoots, website, and social media content creation via Canva. This role is crucial to the delivery and execution of all marketing comms.
* Support on the needs within the food service channels (non-brand) – providing insight for bi-monthly newsletters, collate and direct competitions, brochures, sales 1 pagers, plus any marketing collateral needed.
* Support/lead with any internal events and communications and external company events
* Ad hoc support within the Marketing, Insight, Community, and Commercial functions where needed i.e. Brandbank, Community team support.
What you will bring:

* 2-3 yrs experience of working within a commercial environment. Demonstrates a good understanding and has worked with retail stakeholders to be able to work autonomously in this area confidently.
* Attention to detail.
* Can do attitude and a desire to support the commercial community to deliver against stretching KPIs
* Ability to manage time effectively and influence to ensure multiple objectives are met on time and error free.
* Ability to engage external and internal stakeholders to deliver against Retail Sales channel objectives.
* Use of category data would be beneficial and demonstrates the ability to convert data into PPT insight.
* Experience in analysing and interpreting data from a range of sources to create one truth is essential. Candidate must be inquisitive to understand what data/research is telling us and why it matters to Roberts Bakery.
* At ease creatively - Creation of flyers and one-pagers for sales documents etc
* Project and Time management is an essential skill for this role.
