We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be pivotal in bridging business needs with data-driven solutions, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data systems, and the ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders to capture these complex requirements and support the designing and delivery of solutions which add significant value, achieve business success and help us to meet the Society's needs.

What you'll be doing
A key priority for this role is to support our colleagues within the Data and Analytics team and using your strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams across the organisation to help understand their needs and translate them into requirements for our Engineering teams to deliver. You will work towards establishing influencing relationships with business stakeholders and the leadership team.
With relevant experience under your belt, you'll be using your business analysis or solution design knowledge to identify solutions and approaches that achieve the best business outcome, influencing technology and business resolutions with confidence and innovation, taking into account any external factors and dependencies.
You'll be using your own initiative in this role and required to work with a pro-active mindset and an aim to identify, escalate and resolve issues/risks. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll strive for continuous development in your work and help embed Best Practice Techniques.
About you
We ask that you have:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse requirements related to data and analytics initiatives.
* Translate business needs into clear data requirements and work with data engineers and analysts to implement solutions.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business processes and identify areas for data-driven enhancements.
* Experience at delivering, prioritising, sequencing and sizing Business Analysis activities
* Proven analytical skills in defining business outcomes, business requirements, process modelling, operational designs, target operating models and supporting end-to-end delivery
* Adept at problem identification and resolution, providing meaningful insight and recommendations to facilitate solution discussions
* A strong understanding of project governance deliverables
* Adopts a collaborative approach, working in partnership with other change roles, ensuring the full breadth of change is understood
* The ability to confidently communicate, with the ability to present information to senior stakeholders reporting on progress, blockers and challenges
* Ability to accommodate differing needs of multi-disciplined and geographically dispersed teams, consisting of internal and external resources e.g. Third-party suppliers, remote colleagues and contractors
