Join us as our Head of Strategy & Inorganic Growth, Private Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) You’ll be accountable for shaping and steering the long-term strategic growth agenda for the PBWM franchise, ensuring alignment with broader organisational priorities and market opportunities You’ll also lead the origination and strategic evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry strategies designed to expand PBWM’s reach and enhance its capabilities As a recognised strategic leader in your field, you’ll engage with senior stakeholders across the bank and externally, influencing decision-making and contributing to the evolution of PBWM’s growth trajectory What you'll do This pivotal role centres on strategic orchestration, aligning external growth opportunities with internal ambition, ensuring cultural and operational cohesion, and driving sustainable value creation across the PBWM network. You’ll be expected to anticipate emerging client needs, market dynamics, and regulatory developments, translating these into actionable strategic initiatives. You’ll originate and lead the strategic evaluation of acquisitions and partnerships, overseeing due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation. Post-transaction, you’ll be accountable for integration and value realisation, including performance tracking of inorganic initiatives. We’ll also look to you to: Advance PBWM’s strategic capabilities in market analysis, deal execution, and integration Champion a culture of strategic thinking and client-centric innovation Manage key relationships with Group Strategy, Economics, and Corporate Development Shape and evolve PBWM’s strategic direction in partnership with the PBWM ExCo Identify and execute inorganic growth opportunities that enhance scale, capability, and client proposition Oversee integration and performance monitoring to ensure strategic outcomes are realised Build and lead a high-performing strategy team, engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders The skills you'll need We’re on the lookout for a seasoned strategic leader with a proven track record of driving growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion. You’ll bring strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing strategy teams. You’ll also bring: Extensive experience in PBWM with deep expertise in international markets and end-to-end M&A execution A sophisticated understanding of the industry landscape, including competitive dynamics, client behaviours, and regulatory frameworks Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and analytical skills, enabling you to influence at senior levels and shape strategic outcomes Experience gained in a top-tier strategy consultancy, with a strong grounding in strategic problem-solving and enterprise transformation Hours 35 Job Posting Closing Date: 20/11/2025 Ways of Working:Hybrid
