Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and welding of industrial heat exchangers and associated equipment both in-house and on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out the mechanical fitting, servicing, and overhaul of heat exchangers and static equipment
* Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication on a range of materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel).
* Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment to a high standard.
* Work to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
* Assist in site installations, shutdowns, and emergency repair projects.
