What's the Job About?
You will perform daily operational and maintenance tasks at the Kingsbury Oil Terminal, providing support for activities across the North Sector. Respond promptly to alarms, faults, and breakdowns to restore normal terminal operations as quickly as possible. Take ownership of housekeeping duties, including waste management, weed control, and building maintenance. Assist mechanical and electrical maintenance teams with tasks such as planned maintenance, contractor supervision, and gas testing.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out day-to-day operational tasks such as road tanker fuel sampling, storage tank water draining, daily safety and environmental checks, and fire water pump supervision.
* Respond to faults, alarms, breakdowns, and other issues at the Kingsbury terminal and escalate to maintenance personnel where needed.
* Complete planned maintenance tasks in accordance with company standards and procedures and sign-off records within the CMMS.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards within the terminal ensuring that the site is kept tidy through regular checks, waste disposal, weeding, and overgrowth removal.
* Assist with training and site familiarisation, including road tanker driver inductions.
* Prioritise routine tasks, maintenance, housekeeping, and defects to meet schedules and maintain high standards.
* Liaise daily with control room, maintenance team leader, and road tanker drivers.
What You'll Need
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Full valid driving licence.
* Proficient in numerical skills and English both written and oral.
* Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and e-mail.
