Salary: NJC 18 to 22 (Actual salary £31,537 - £33,699)

About the role
We are looking to appoint a Maintenance/Premises Technician/Handyman who will work with the Site and Facilities team on a daily basis. They will help to ensure the smooth running of the Academy premises and the safe operation of the site. The role suits somebody who has a positive attitude, a flexible approach and is able to work under their own initiative. The successful candidate will have experience in maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance, and will be willing to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Site and Facilities team to maintain Academy premises and ensure safe operation of the site.
* Carry out maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs as required.
* Be proactive in identifying issues and improving maintenance processes.
* Learn and develop new maintenance skills as needed.
Qualifications & attributes
* Experience in maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance.
* Positive attitude, flexible approach, and ability to work under own initiative.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
