Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Thornton, Lancashire (FY5) The opportunity has arisen at a Primary School in Thornton for a EYFS Practitioner starting ASAP. The role is to work in a larger than average EYFS provision, supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant who will be able to encourage learning for the schools earliest learners whilst creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for all. To be considered for this post, you will have at least 6 months experience working in a EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting learners with SLCN and will be comfortable supporting with tailored sessions to assist with speech and language development. The role will include 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of needs. Ideally, applicants will be able to adapt their support style to suit individual children and will be comfortable with personal care.
