Contract LNG Business Analyst - EOS / Energy Trading

We are currently supporting a major energy trading organisation in the search for an experienced LNG Business Analyst with strong EOS (Energy One) expertise to support a number of critical trading and technology initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced commodity trading environment, partnering closely with trading, operations, and technology teams to enhance and optimise LNG trading processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Business Analyst supporting LNG trading and operations teams
* Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
* Work closely with traders, schedulers, risk teams, and IT to deliver system improvements
* Support configuration and optimisation of the EOS ETRM platform
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
* Facilitate UAT, testing, and system implementation
* Drive process improvements across LNG trade lifecycle, scheduling, and risk
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within energy or commodity trading
* Strong experience with EOS (Energy One) ETRM platform
* Experience supporting LNG trading or natural gas trading environments
* Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle within commodity trading
* Experience working with front office, risk, and operations teams
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable
* Experience working on ETRM implementations or enhancements
* Exposure to LNG logistics, scheduling, or nominations
* Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Additional Information
* Contract role – Outside IR35
* Immediate start preferred
* Competitive day rate
* Remote working with occasional travel depending on project requirements
