Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Full Sutton. HMP Full Sutton is a busy category A and B mens prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The site supports around 560 men aged 21+ with a range of health conditions including a high number of complex needs. Within this role you will be delivering clinical sessions, segregation rounds and providing daily acute support within the main population and specialist units.

Responsibilities
* Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
* Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
* Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

We are looking for a General Practitioner who has a passion for working with patients who are disconnected from the healthcare service and who is keen to work as part of an established team. We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all.
Qualifications
* MBChB or MBBS
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications

This position is full time role working 16 hours per week, youll receive an annual salary up to £125,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
