Legal Administrator. Full time or Part Time, office based, Liverpool or Chester, Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
The role
We are looking for a capable and efficient Legal Administrator to join our busy Commercial Property department. You can be based in either of our Liverpool or Chester city centre offices.
Assisting our busy Commercial Property team with legal administration tasks, you'll be instrumental in the day to day running of the department. A natural organiser with strong communication skills you will provide solid support to our lawyers, and to our clients. This is a busy and varied role with tasks including:
* All administration duties such as dealing with incoming and outgoing post, photocopying, filing and scanning
* Diary management and organising remote / in person appointments.
* Scheduling of leases
* Conducting land registry searches
* Revenue filings
* Checking of legal documents to ensure accuracy
* Archiving of legal documents
* Updating the case management system with all appropriate documents and notes
* Requesting and obtaining relevant information from other organisations by phone, email or post
* Preparation of bills and completion statements
* Preparing and formatting legal and management reports
* Ensuring our service standards are delivered consistently and proactively every client, every time
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who ideally has previous legal administration experience but if you are a competent administrator with experience in professional services and a genuine interest in law, we'd love to talk too.
You'll be a capable, highly organised and efficient administrator and a fantastic communicator. You will be able to juggle multiple tasks and have a real eye for small details. IT skills/ case management experience are important too. We are looking for a team player with a 'can do' approach
