Cover Supervisor - Primary Schools
We are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools who are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with children who are looking to gain further classroom experience or pursue a career in education.
The Role:
* Supervising classes during teacher absence using pre-set lesson plans
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
* Supporting pupils to stay engaged and on task
* Following school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures
* Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A calm, professional and adaptable approach
* A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
* The ability to work across different year groups when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
