Production Administrator
The Production Administrator supports the Production Manager in all administrative functions related to the production and delivery of customer vehicles. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure vehicles move smoothly through production and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Upon delivery of the new vehicles, the Production Coordinator is responsible for issuing the build specification pack and distributing it to the relevant Team Leaders. They label all documentation.
They maintain and update the production schedule, ensuring all key information and changes are recorded accurately. This includes keeping the Master Production Schedule (MPS) current with daily updates and locking it weekly to allow for financial data reporting.
The role also includes managing logistics for the delivery of completed vehicles. This involves liaising with delivery companies, preparing vehicle book packs by scanning all necessary paperwork and certificates, and creating delivery notes for internal vehicle movements.
Regular customer communication is essential. The coordinator provides weekly updates on vehicle delivery schedules and ensures all shared information is accurate and up to date.
