Were working with a <b>market-leading R&D organisation</b> near Southampton who are looking for a <b>QC Laboratory Technician</b> to join their team.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to <b>cutting-edge product and process development</b>, supporting quality assessment and helping drive innovation.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>Youll play a key part in the quality control laboratory, supporting the full product lifecycle through:</p><ul><li>Sample receipt, preparation, analysis and reporting</li><li>Operating and calibrating laboratory equipment in line with SOPs and methods</li><li>Working to <b>Best Laboratory Practice (BLP)</b> standards</li><li>Assisting in the <b>development and validation of new methods and procedures</b></li><li>Supporting ongoing product and process improvement activities</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><p>Were looking for someone who is:</p><ul><li>Degree qualified in a suitable Science discipline (Chemistry preferred)</li><li>Highly detail-focused and organised</li><li>IT literate with strong data handling skills</li><li>A clear communicator with good time management</li><li>Experienced in laboratory environments (GCMS experience desirable but not essential)</li></ul><h3>Whats On Offer</h3><ul><li>£17.89 per hour (PAYE)</li><li>35-hour working week (Monday to Friday)</li><li>Initial contract until the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension based on workload</li></ul></div>
