General Manager - Guildford
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Mulligans, Guildford. Mulligans hosts multiple competitive gaming activities including electro darts, crazy golf with technological scoring, electro shuffle, pool, arcades and a fully equipped sports bar.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within leisure/bar/restaurant management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for food safety, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring high standards service across all streams of revenue while maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations, delivering outstanding service to make every guests visit exceptional.
* Driving sales through B2B relationships, building focused sales team within the business and delivering an efficient enquiry process.
* Delivering sales targets and controlling operational costs.
* Manage and train staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication among all team members.
* Ensuring 100% compliance with food safety, healthy & safety, and licensing regulations in line with company policy, and legislation.
* Coordinate food production processes, ensuring quality control in food preparation and presentation.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to provide exceptional hospitality.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff, providing feedback and opportunities for professional development.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Proven experience in leisure/ba/restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality sector.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
* Ability to manage high volume food and beverage establishment whilst over seeing competitive gaming activities.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
