£50,000 to £60,000 per annum plus package and generous bonus

TS Recruitment are actively working with a Electrical contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Benefits
Basic salary circa £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Company car or car allowance
Career progression to commercial manager
8.30 am to 5 pm working hours
Bonus up to 15%
3% employee pension contributions
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Commercially manage projects for a specialist Electrical Contractor
Work includes commercial new build and commercial decarbonisation work such as solar panels
Work closely with the Contracts Managers to ensure projects are completed are within budget
Carry out monthly cost value reports
Attend site meetings
Complete final accounts
Manage the contractual QS side identifying and resolving issues

£6 million turnover and part of a larger group of companies
Long-term client base for renowned tier 1 main contractors
Work on commercial new builds and commercial local authority refurb work
Geographically cover a region from Leeds to York and the East coast
Knowledge/Experience:
A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
Electrical experience preferred but a subcontract background considered
Preferably degree educated.
Good IT and numerical skills.
Full UK driving license
