Your new company Working for a fantastic financial services organisation in Chesterfield you will be part of a growing organisation. Due to sustained periods of growth within this company a newly created role of Member Communications Manager has been created. Key Vacancy information - Permanent job opportunity - Competitive salary dependant on experience £40,000 - £60,000 - Chesterfield Office based, option to work 2 days a week from home - Successful applicants will live locally to the Chesterfield area. - Full time hours Monday to Friday - Travel to London approx 2 days a month - Newly created role due to growth - Keen to ideally appoint an experience communications manager ideally from financial services/ pensions/ banking/ wealth management/ service sector - Extensive stakeholder liaison Your new role This is a newly created role situated in Head Office. This position has been created due to business expansion and growth within the organisation and the PR/ Communications Department. The role will work to support member/ service user communications across the UK business and will report directly to the Head of Communications based in a team of 4. This role is based in Chesterfield and is mainly office-based with an option to work hybrid 2 days a week. The successful applicant will need to be ideally local to the area. There will be a need to travel to the London office up to 2 days a month to work with the wider business team. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication projects/ strategies to engage members regarding their pension plans. The successful applicant will be a proven Communications Manager able to demonstrate this upon application. Ideally, the successful candidate will be from the financial services / banking/ pensions sector, but other industry experience is welcomed. Duties and responsibilities of the role will include: - Developing and implementing communications strategies for member engagement and understanding using various channels - website, portal, Newsletters and emails - Working with the wider business (pension teams) to identify areas of improvement and feedback - Work to support the drafting, review and management of all member communications - Maintenance and upkeep of standard template letters, website and communication materials - Develop approaches to engage with members current and new members - these will have varying needs and approaches needed - Implementation of new campaigns to increase engagement for portal and online engagement - Drafting, managing and distributing newsletters and adhoc comms - Work to align communications strategies with the overall business goals - Work closely with stakeholders and other internal teams to ensure communications are clear and effective - Work closely with current and new external partners and vendors to support communications What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have proven experience in a communications roles, ideally in a similar industry ( financial services) Excellent communications skills, written and verbal Strong project management skills and highly organised Previous experience of analysing data and metrics to information communication strategies What you'll get in return Excellent competitive salary Full time hours Monday to Friday Chesterfield based Hybrid 2 days a week Excellent benefits including generous pension 10% circa performance bonus subject to targets ( could be more business performance pending) What you need to do now Please submit your CV to the vacancy including contact information To progress your application ( subject to the suitability of application and experience) a Consultant at Hays will contact you via telephone to conduct a telephone interview and a MS Teams screening.
