Change Manager

RS Group is looking for an experienced Change Manager to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring that all changes across our global IT landscape are managed in a controlled, consistent, and well-governed manner. You’ll be the central point of contact for all change activity, driving process compliance and minimising risk to business-critical services.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Own and operate the Change Management process end-to-end.
2. Act as the primary point of contact within Service Operations for all change-related activity.
3. Review and plan global product changes and system releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
4. Conduct and validate impact and risk assessments for proposed changes.
5. Plan and communicate service outages, maintenance windows, and change-related activities to stakeholders.
6. Chair and lead weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
7. Maintain clear and proactive communication with business stakeholders.
8. Manage and publish the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC).
9. Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
10. Track improvement actions, ensuring timely completion and sign-off by service owners.
11. Support Release Management processes and attend Release Board and project release meetings.
12. Build strong relationships with third-party support partners and internal resolver groups.
13. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within Change Management.
14. Perform trend analysis to highlight improvement opportunities.
15. Contribute to Problem Management activities related to major or recurring incidents.
16. Produce and present critical reports and metrics to stakeholders.
17. Attend monthly governance meetings with MSPs to review performance trends.
18. Manage and mentor the Change Analyst, fostering growth and capability.

You’re a detail-oriented and process-driven professional who thrives on structure and governance. You have a natural ability to balance risk with business agility, ensuring changes are delivered smoothly without compromising service stability. Your communication skills make you a trusted advisor to stakeholders, and you’re passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You’ll Need
19. Proven experience in IT Operations or Service Support roles within a global or regional organisation.
20. Strong working knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks and their practical application.
21. Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and driving service improvement initiatives.
22. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
23. Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
24. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Desirable Skills
25. ITIL Practitioner or ITIL v3 Expert certification.
26. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
27. Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
