An entirely B2B organisation, Syndico services a network of nearly 700 reseller partners across the UK and EMEA region, providing them with best-in-class logistics, technical, customer service and sales and marketing support. Our philosophy is to treat every reseller partner as an extension to our business; Syndico is the bridge between manufacturer and reseller, allowing our manufacturers to focus on R&D and our resellers to focus on their customers.

Role Description

We’re looking for a System Support Specialist to join our business in a permanent role, working part-time hours (22.5 hours per week - Wednesday to Friday, 9:00am until 5:30pm). This is an on-site role based at our headquarters in Hedge End, Southampton.

Our System Support Specialist will be a vital “process” link between our Sales Support (Customer Services), Finance, and Sales and Marketing teams. Working closely with all departments, this person will become a specialist in all our systems and ensure that our wider team are well trained in using our systems proficiently, supported to follow all processes correctly, and all IT systems are optimised and performing as required.

Key roles and responsibilities

·Own all internal processes and policies, including regular reviews and updating of policy documents.

·Become an expert in all systems, including Microsoft Business Central, Office 365 and HubSpot CRM.

·Support the Operations Director in ensuring Syndico’s compliance with all accreditations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Cyber Essentials.

·Provide systems and processes training for the wider team.

·Provide systems and process-oriented feedback on “business efficiency” projects.

·Manage site health and safety, including taking on responsibilities as a First Aider and a Fire Warden.

·Undertake key finance tasks on Thursdays and Fridays when our Accounts team are not in the building, including invoice uploads and releasing payments.

·Maintain the flexibility to provide ad-hoc support to the Sales Support, Finance, and Warehouse teams as required.

While this is a part-time role currently, it is possible that this role may scale up to a full-time role of “Systems Support Manager” in the future.

Who we’re looking for

Syndico is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, but with a “family feel” you’re unlikely to find in most businesses. Therefore, we’re looking for somebody who thrives on working in a close-knit team who they can support and receive support from.

Key attributes we’re looking for include:

* An excellent communicator – someone who can listen effectively as well as get their message across to colleagues.
* Highly IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft’s suite of business tools (including Business Central).
* Extremely well organised, with the ability to manage several ongoing projects and deadlines and keep documents and important internal information saved and organised logically and efficiently.
* Experience of using and managing a CRM platform (experience of HubSpot is desirable but not essential).
* Experience undertaking important finance and accounts administration, with excellent attention to detail.
