We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant. If this sounds like the right fit, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role
Your primary responsibility as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care plans, and updating records accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, their families, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated appropriately.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
