Specialty Doctor - Trauma and Orthopaedics (Internal)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic Team at Macclesfield District General Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive department, working alongside experienced Consultants, Core Trainees and Trauma co-ordinators. We deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service in a modern, well-equipped District General Hospital.
The Department offers extensive opportunities to support consultants both in a clinic environment and in theatres.
Main duties of the job
This is a part-time post in Trauma and Orthopaedics, East Cheshire NHS Trust based at Macclesfield District General Hospital.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Trauma and Orthopaedics and be expected to work in Orthopaedic Outpatients and theatres under the supervision of the consultant Orthopaedic surgeons, and attend multidisciplinary meetings.

The starting salary paypoint can only be increased when there is evidence of relevant, completed years' experience in terms of nature, type and level of role. Person Specification
Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications
* GMC registration
* FRCS / MRCS or equivalent
Clinical skills
* Previous experience of general Trauma & Orthopaedics
* Evidence of personally conducted research and/or clinical audit.
* Evidence of understanding of principles of clinical governance.
* Demonstrate knowledge of working in the NHS as part of a multidisciplinary team.
