💷 Pay Rate: £135 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)

Humly is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Sunderland who require a regular Music Teacher on an ad hoc supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys inspiring young people through music while maintaining flexibility in their working week.
🎵 The Role
You will be delivering engaging and high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, stepping in to provide continuity of learning when required. The school has an ongoing need, offering regular work for the right candidate.
✅ Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and practical Music lessons to secondary students
*
Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of different learners
*
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*
Assess and monitor student progress in line with school policies
*
Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department and wider staff team
✔️ Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
*
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
*
Strong classroom management skills
*
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
