An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Macmillan team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking to recruit an administrator to coordinate and organise the day-to-day administrative duties of the Macmillan Team within the Trust. The role involves general clerical and administrative duties, suitable for an organised, motivated, and enthusiastic individual. The ideal candidate must demonstrate adaptability to change and thrive in a varied workload environment.

The service currently provides cover Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours negotiable.


Main duties of the job

* Support the administrative duties associated with the provision of the Macmillan service within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
* Ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the service through robust organisational and communication skills, and a positive customer service approach.

Job responsibilities

Support the Macmillan team with administrative duties, requiring organisation, motivation, and adaptability.

Provide cover Monday to Friday with negotiable flexible hours.

* Assist with administrative tasks related to the Macmillan service.
* Ensure the smooth operation of the service through effective organisational and communication skills.


Person Specification


Qualifications

* English and Maths GCSE, CSE Level 2, or A-C or above
* Word processing or typing skills


Knowledge

* Understanding of confidentiality requirements
* Experience in clerical/office duties
* Experience with data input and database management


Experience

* Teamwork and individual work experience
* Audio Typing experience
* Ability to manage time and workload in a busy environment


Skills

* Verbal and written communication skills with health professionals and the public
* Friendly, approachable manner


Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This position requires a DBS check due to the nature of the role.
