Pay Rate:
* PAYE: £13.26 per hour
* Umbrella / Limited: £17.15 per hour
* Contract Type: Shift-Based / Temporary
Grade 3 Social Care Worker / Care Worker – Shift Work
Ribble Recruitment are currently supporting the sourcing of Grade 3 Social Care Workers / Care Workers for a residential care service in Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil.
This opportunity offers flexible shift-based work, supporting residents within a residential care environment. The role is ideal for experienced care professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals with their daily needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities where required.
* Support residents to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
* Encourage and assist with social activities and engagement.
* Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
* Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and care policies.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a health and social care or residential care setting.
* Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care responsibilities.
* Ability to work flexible shifts including early, late, or weekend shifts where required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A compassionate and professional approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
