As a Yard Operative, you\'ll be instrumental in the maintenance, repair, and preparation of our modular buildings and site accommodation units. Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Upkeep: Clean, paint, and perform general maintenance on cabins and buildings as directed.
* Servicing: Service mobile welfare units to ensure they\'re in top condition.
* Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs promptly.
* Furniture Management: Check and store furniture returned to the yard, ensuring it\’s properly removed from cabins and placed back in storage.
* Efficiency: Minimise material wastage and assist with the safe loading and unloading of cabins, buildings, and materials.
* Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised yard and workshop at all times.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to current health and safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills and Experience
* Technical Expertise: Experience in plumbing, joinery, or electrical work is highly beneficial.
* Multitasking: Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
