We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a permanent capacity, where your expertise and commitment will help shape lives and strengthen communities. We are currently recruiting… A Social Worker with empathy and the drive to make a difference — finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home. We need a permanent, full-time Social Worker to work across West Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Older Adults and Physical Disability Community Teams. We're driving forward innovative practice that will make a difference to our communities, and we need new Social Workers to help us achieve our vision of supporting people to live independently in a place they call their home. As part of your new role, you will be expected to undertake strength-based, outcome-focused assessments and support planning, ensuring that the residents of Lancashire receive the right level of support. You will play a vital role in supporting people to access local services, maintain independence, promote health and wellbeing, and live independently. A key part of the role includes working alongside other agencies, professionals, and informal carers to provide a holistic service. Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE.
