Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Capernwray, Carnforth
Salary: Starting at £27,803.20, with potential earnings up to £34,523.20 including sleep-in shifts.

We invite you to join our dedicated team at Bayview, where you’ll work in a nurturing environment with a maximum of four young residents. Your role will be pivotal in guiding children aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges towards success.
Your Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager in leading day-to-day operations to enhance the lives of our young residents.
* Support the creation of a safe, secure, and positive home environment.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of our home’s quality and reputation.
* Act as a deputy for the Registered Manager when needed.
* Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, including residents, families, and placing authorities.
What We’re Looking For
* A full UK driving license.
* Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People is essential.
* A passion for supporting young people and a commitment to our ethos.

Your Role in Childcare Provision
* Develop and review care plans for each child, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel they belong.

Business Management and Improvement
* Assist in managing the home’s budget and ensure quality food standards.
* Lead staff meetings and encourage team input on improvements.
* Continuously seek to enhance your knowledge and skills in childcare.
Staff Management
* Manage staff fairly and consistently, minimizing turnover.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Address any issues promptly and professionally.
