Role Overview
Our Advanced Technician Apprentice includes theoretical and practical tasks. Placements include process engineering, product engineering, EHS, and machining with a long‑term focus towards a specific engineering role.
Responsibilities
* Observe the agreed conditions of the relevant learning agreement
* Attend training and perform tasks as directed
* Undertake training and assessments required under the training plan
* Work towards achieving the competencies of the training plan
* Keep an updated training record to demonstrate achievements
* Behave in a courteous and professional manner
* Adhere to Company policy including Health and Safety procedures
* Comply with external training providers code of conduct
Qualifications
* Company Core Values at all times
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above to include Maths, English and Science
* Excellent communication skills
* Self‑motivated & proactive
* Ability to work independently & as part of a team
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Recent job or relevant work experience would be advantageous
* Demonstrable interest in developing a career within Engineering
