Your Role! The purpose of the Case Management Officer role is to ensure that all reports of housing disrepair, damp and mould, and other statutory hazards are managed efficiently, lawfully, and with a tenant centred approach. This role provides end to end case management for: Housing Conditions Claims (including pre‑action and legal claims) Repairs and hazard responses under Awaab’s Law HHSRS‑related hazards requiring urgent action The role exists to ensure that the Council is supported in meeting its legal duties, responds within statutory timescales, maintains the safety of homes, reduces risk to tenants, and prevents escalation of issues into formal legal claims.
