The Role:
1. Undertaking painting duties as required by management in residential and business properties
2. To apply paint, stain, varnish, primers, sealers and fungicidal solution as and when required to timber, metal, plaster and masonry work etc
3. To carry out any required preparation by stripping, sanding, wire brushing to maintain doors, door frames, windows, timber, metal and masonry etc
4. To remove and refit fixtures and fittings, ironmongery as required
5. To fill cracks, holes, or joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knifes
6. Carry out a range of minor multi-skilled tasks and maintenance work outside of trade without reliance on other trades
Hours of work:
7. Monday to Thursday 0830hrs to 1630hrs and Friday 0830hrs to 1600hrs
Requirements:
8. Recognised CITB Painting & Decorating apprenticeship or equivalent approved training
9. Hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a building discipline or have 5 years post apprenticeship work
10. Minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience
11. CSR Card desirable
12. Driving Licence with Access to a car

13. Rates of pay £ per hour
