The Role – What You'll Be Doing Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems including motors, control panels, lighting, and emergency systems Diagnosing and repairing faults using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools Ensuring systems run efficiently, reducing unplanned downtime and supporting critical production schedules Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximise system life Recording maintenance activity, parts used, and upcoming servicing needs Ensuring compliance with safety standards and site-specific protocols Supporting occasional site-based reactive call-outs or short-term travel to key client locations Supporting sites nationally, depending on customer needs What You'll Bring NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations At least 2 years of experience in an electrical maintenance role, ideally within industrial or FMCG environments Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of 3-phase systems Ability to work independently or as part of a team on both preventative and reactive maintenance Full UK driving licence ECS Card, IPAF or PASMA is desirable Experience within food, beverage or hygiene-critical manufacturing environments is desirable Why Work with KDH Projects? £14.00 – £22.00 per hour, depending on experience Permanent, full-time role with long-term stability Monday to Friday daytime hours, with some flexibility for weekend/overtime Travel expenses covered for site-based work Supportive team culture with opportunities for continued training and professional development A well-respected business that values safety, integrity and quality across every project We welcome applications from skilled engineers from all backgrounds and are committed to building an inclusive workforce.
