To start a career that is out of the ordinary, please apply Job Details The Role The Charts Unit produces market-leading, consumption-based charts and analysis for the music and video industries across the UK, Republic of Ireland, and France. Our data is delivered to clients on a next-day basis, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we have been at the forefront of this field for over 30 years. As a Charts Operations Executive, you will provide best-in-class research insight and technical support to clients, management, and colleagues. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of our chart data while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and systems. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Charts team Develop a strong understanding of the research principles and technical requirements behind consumption-based chart production in the home entertainment industry Build technical expertise in loading, interrogating, cleansing, and aggregating data Become proficient in navigating both the internal product database and the client-facing online dashboard Work flexibly as part of a rota, including some weekend “duty” shifts Contribute ideas and support initiatives to improve business processes Collaborate with the Charts Business Analyst to ensure procedural updates are accurately documented Adhere to Kantar’s ethics policies, the MRS Code of Conduct, data protection requirements, and quality standards Deliver excellent client service and help build strong relationships with external stakeholders What We’re Looking For Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong literacy and numeracy skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends on a rota basis A genuine interest in music and video entertainment An analytical and inquisitive mindset Adaptability and openness to new challenges Proactive in developing skills and seeking opportunities to grow Familiarity with data and cloud technologies such as SQL, Databricks, Python and ADLS (Experience is desirable but we also welcome candidates who are keen to learn). French reading and/or speaking skills are desirable but not essential.
