We are currently recruiting for a Senior Building Structural Engineer to support our Glasgow-based structures team and assist with providing a multi-disciplinary consultancy design service to RPS’s contractor, developer, and utility clients.
You will design, check, and manage all elements of multi-disciplinary project design. The role involves detailed structural analysis, design checks, site inspections, and supervision of construction, including developing close working relationships with contractor clients. You will coordinate geotechnical and civil resources across offices, manage multiple projects from concept to construction, and represent the team to clients and in winning new work.

Qualifications:
* BEng, MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar
* Chartered Engineer or equivalent (desirable)
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Postgraduate experience in consulting engineering or similar
* Knowledge of engineering design procedures and construction processes
* Proficiency with structural analysis and 3D modelling software
* Experience with concrete, steel, timber, masonry
* Knowledge of BS/EN standards
* Experience in structural condition inspections (beneficial)

* Report to the Structures Technical Director in Glasgow
* Support design packages across project phases
* Coordinate with environmental, geotechnical, and civil disciplines

* Prepare tender submissions and client presentations
* Lead or support client meetings and manage junior staff
* Maintain technical knowledge and participate in structural inspections
