We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Service Engineer to join our Fuels Specialties Customer Technical Services (FS-CTS) team, based at our Millbrook facility. In this role, you’ll work alongside a skilled team of engineers and scientists, developing and delivering practical solutions that enhance fuel performance and support customer success.
Role Responsibilities
* Act as a key interface between Innospec, Millbrook, and other test suppliers.
* Generate clear, accurate reports from tests carried out at Millbrook and other facilities for business and marketing use.
* Support day-to-day system operations to ensure efficient running of the Millbrook office.
* Translate customer and research group needs into effective test programmes, prepare cost projections, oversee test operations, and provide comprehensive reports as required.
* Visit customer sites as required, with support from the Senior Technical Service Engineer.
* Develop a strong understanding of current industry test methods.
* Assist with participation in CEC and other external industry committees.
* Support the preparation and delivery of agent and sales training seminars.
* Maintain awareness of relevant technological advancements.
* Assist in planning and executing fleet trials as required.
* Contribute to technical engineering services across the EMEA, ASPAC, and Americas regions.
* Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to internal technical and sales teams, as well as to external customers.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
* Proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to manage and analyse data.
* Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiating abilities.
* Willingness and ability to develop both technical knowledge and personal skills.
