We’re looking for a passionate and creative Lead Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a meaningful programme of activities that brings enjoyment, stimulation, and a sense of purpose to our Client’s care home residents. You’ll plan and lead both group and one-to-one sessions that support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing – always tailored to each individual’s interests, needs, and abilities. In this hands-on role, you’ll supervise and support a team of Activity Coordinators and volunteers, ensuring a consistent, inclusive, and person-centred approach. From crafts and games to community events, entertainment, and themed days, you’ll help create a vibrant and engaging home environment where residents feel involved and valued. We’re looking for someone with experience in planning and delivering activities in a care setting, ideally with previous leadership or supervisory experience. A working knowledge of person-centred care and dementia-friendly practice is important, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for enhancing quality of life. NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable, and you’ll need to be confident using a computer for planning, documentation, and social media updates.
