We have an amazing opportunity to join the People Team in the Learning & Development function.?
This role will support our South West Region ( Venues include Oxford, Cardiff, Bristol, Cheltenham & Birmingham)and therefore you should be based within the South West Region.
The Job
Working alongside the People team, the purpose of this role is to support individuals and groups to develop skills and knowledge required in their role with a focus on management development and growth rather than solely hospitality training. The Learning and Development Business Partner role will enable you to plan, prioritise and develop new engaging and imaginative training programmes and initiatives, ensuring that these programmes and initiatives are consistent with the business overall strategies, objectives, and needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Identifying and developing a suite of innovative training and development tools for our Venue teams
* Supporting ongoing development of our team
* Supporting the creation of potential future academy & apprenticeship programmes
* Creating, designing and delivering of our development workshops
* Running regular feedback sessions/tools to ensure the programmes are meeting their agreed success measures:?
* Evaluating capability gaps and recommend new tools and methods
* Supporting new venue opening training
* Partnering with Operations to develop and run regular feedback workshops and implement suggested improvements where appropriate
* Working alongside the People and Operations team to ensure consistent delivery of training on all products in venue in line with brand strategy and training best practice
* Implementing and monitoring agreed evaluation of product training and provide reports to management and product owners
* Regularly visiting venues to observe the effectiveness of product training suggesting relevant action where necessary
* Working alongside the Operations team, support with the booking of external training
* Implementing processes and systems to support and manage the full product learning suite
* Designing e-learning content for our LMS
* Working alongside the People team to ensure on-line training is fit for its audience and supports our venue team
* Supporting Head of L&D with central learning programmes and initiatives
To be successful in this role, youll have:
* Ideally, some Hospitality Management experience from a previous L&D role
* Would suit an individual with current or previous Management experience and example of leading a team
* Experience of having facilitated product or guest training in venue
* Strong Project Management skills and knowledge
* Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* A love of communication and demonstrable experience of delivering innovative and effective training and development programmes and workshops
* A proven track record partnering with Operations
* Experience of having successfully run team meetings / team workshops
* Experience of venue opening training is beneficial
* The ability to regularly travel between venues in the southwest region
