We are recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join our Recruitment and Assessment teams within Adoption Partnership South East. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Regional Adoption Agency which provides adoption services on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley, Kent County Council, and Medway Council. The teams recruit, assess, and support potential adopters as well as Early Permanence carers who provide placements to young children while court proceedings are ongoing.

You will also provide support to early permanence carers facing uncertainty while remaining child-centred and working well with birth parents and other professionals. An understanding of the lifelong impact of adoption and the importance of maintaining connections and relationships for the adopted person is essential.
Salary is dependent on experience and progression through the career grade and is based on fulfilling required capabilities. Applicants must be able to evidence successful progression to the required competency level via a recognized career pathway when submitting their application.

In addition to supporting families, report writing, and meeting deadlines, you must be able to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills. You should work independently as well as part of a team with a positive performance culture. Above all, a child-focused approach is essential.
