Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while promoting their social and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early learning and development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's needs and progress.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
* Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere.
* Support children in developing social skills and independence.
Experience
* A background in early childhood education or childcare is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in welsh, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Experience in creating engaging educational activities tailored to children's interests and needs.
* Nvq 2 in early years or above is essential.
