Holt Engineering is recruiting an experienced and commercially focused Account Manager to join a newly established team at our client’s Poole offices. This is a proactive, office-based role centred on developing sales within an existing B2B customer base while reactivating previously engaged accounts. You will be one of two Account Managers helping to build and shape a brand-new account management function, offering genuine opportunity to influence processes, strategy, and long-term success. Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager will include the below: Account Growth & Development Strengthen relationships with existing B2B customers to increase engagement and repeat business Reconnect with lapsed customers and rebuild consistent ordering activity Identify opportunities to grow revenue within established customer sectors Develop newer accounts to maximise long-term value Target new prospects using insights from high-performing customer profilesAccount Management & Customer Care Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts through regular phone and email contact Monitor low-activity and dormant accounts and implement reactivation plans Support new customers post-sale to encourage repeat orders and smooth onboarding Build trusted relationships with buyers and procurement decision-makersCommercial Insight & Collaboration Use CRM systems and sales data to plan activity and track customer behaviour Work closely with leadership to share market feedback and support sales strategy improvementsExperience needed for the Account Manager role: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B account management role Proven ability to retain, develop, and grow customer accounts Confident using CRM systems and analysing customer data Comfortable handling both outbound and inbound calls, engaging with senior stakeholdersInterested in this role as Account Manager Please contact Chelsea or Yasmin at Holt Engineering for more information by applying with your CV
