Description
Credit Controller:
* Assessing customer credit and either approving or halting transactions (with necessary approval from Directors).
* Pursuing overdue payments to ensure timely settlement by customers, escalating if payments are delayed or missed.
* Handling payments via phone.
* Overseeing credit note requests and maintaining records alongside the General Manager.
* Conducting bank reconciliations and preparing and submitting statutory and statistical reports.
* Completing and submitting tasks for both internal and external audits.
* Monitoring the finance email inbox and addressing any inquiries.
* Performing various finance administrative duties such as invoicing, assisting with new account setups, and managing paperwork.
* Addressing ad hoc operational and finance-related requests.
Profile
Credit Controller:
* Proficient in Excel with a good working knowledge
* Background of over 1 year in credit control and familiarity with reporting standards
* Skilled in building strong relationships and possessing clear and confident communication abilities
* Team player with a proactive "can-do" attitude, as the role involves close collaboration with various teams, managers, and Directors
* Familiarity with utilizing external credit agency information systems
