ROLE PURPOSE
The Lead Nurse is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of care for our clients and carers.
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services and working closely with fellow Lead Nurses and the Regional Care Manager, the Lead Nurse will lead and support Nurse Case Managers within the region to ensure all care is safe and quality-driven. The Lead Nurse will hold a small caseload while supporting business growth through assessing and onboarding new clients and delivering clinical training when needed.
You will work 3 days in our Wimbledon office and 2 days out in the community. Experience with Trachy/Vent and/or Spinal cases is required.

* North London

* Southeast England
Service delivery, quality, and governance
* Ensure understanding of establishing appropriately skilled and matched core care teams around clients among all regional team members, clients, and commissioners, underpinning service delivery.
* Manage a smooth onboarding process for new clients, meeting operational, clinical, and financial parameters within contract and HFH thresholds.
* Ensure clients receive the best possible care.
* Attend the HFH Virtual Care Round (VCR) review monthly for all clients in the region, more frequently if issues arise.
* Follow through on actions agreed at Virtual Care Rounds.
* Support and coach Nurse Case Managers in investigating and resolving issues to prevent escalation to formal complaints.
* Take responsibility for escalation and intervention where situations cannot be resolved by Nurse Case Managers, in conjunction with the Regional Care Manager if necessary.
* Assist with reviewing clinical policies and procedures.
* Ensure all clinical SOPs are implemented and followed.
