Leader Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to support children and young people with SEND in inclusive mainstream & specialist SEND schools across the Leeds Area. These are long‑term temporary roles, ideal for candidates seeking a consistent, full‑time position in a supportive and structured environment.
SEND Role - School Behaviour Support
The Role
You will work with pupils who have a wide range of additional needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs, behavioural and social differences.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
* Assisting in the development of independence, and confidence
* Supporting communication and social development
* Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil
* Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
Role Requirements
Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential. We are looking for people located or able to reliably travel within the Leeds area. What matters most for this role is a genuine passion for supporting children on their education journey, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to a long‑term placement.
