Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Average 39.5 hours per week), flexible hours contract
Shift Pattern:
5 out of 7: 5-day shift one week, 7-day shift the next
OR 6 out of 4: 6-day shift one week, 4-day shift the next The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a well-established retail and leisure business in Droitwich. This role focuses on managing the goods inwards process, ensuring deliveries are received, checked, and recorded accurately while leading a team to deliver consistently high standards of service and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and support a management team of 3 staff
Oversee the wider team of 18; Warehouse 6, Goods in 4, Goods Out 3, Drivers 5,
Oversee unloading and storing of all incoming deliveries
Ensure delivery paperwork matches purchase orders, flagging issues where required
Keep stock records up to date within the warehouse management system
Maintain a safe and tidy working area, in line with health and safety expectations
Work closely with procurement, quality control, and wider warehouse colleagues
Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to your team to help them succeed
Monitor and review processes, identifying ways to improve efficiency and accuracy
Report and support with investigations into delivery or stock discrepancies Must Have:
Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment
Previous supervisory or management experience
Technical mindset
Lean process improvement experience
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
Familiar with stock control or warehouse systems (NAVision ideally or similar)
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Understanding of health & safety in a warehouse setting Bonus Skills (desirable):
Forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach)
Exposure to continuous improvement practices
Knowledge of quality checking goods on arrival The Package
Full-time, permanent role - 39.5 hours average per week
Mixed shift patterns (5 out of 7 or 6 out of 4)
